50 Shades of Grey movie producers have denied rumours that this particular actor has landed the coveted role of sexy CEO Christian Grey – but who is he?
50 Shades of Greymovie producers have denied rumours that Sons of Anarchy actor Charlie Hunnam has been cast in the role of Christian Grey.
Smouldering? Check. Sexy? You betcha. But the gorgeous British actor Charlie Hunnam, recently rumoured to be the man who would soon grace our screens as the dashing-yet-dangerous Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ erotic bestseller, isn’t going to be dangling handcuffs in front of Anastasia Steele just yet.
According to Variety, insiders have stated that while Hunnam is still on the list of potential candidates to play the coveted role in theFifty Shades of Greymovie adaptation, ‘no casting decisions have been made on the project,’ which will be directed bySam Taylor-Wood.
The interest in Charlie, a rising star who recently appeared opposite Idris Elba in Pacific Rim, is in keeping with rumours that producers are looking for an up-and-comer to play the film’s leading lady, the delicate and beautiful Anastasia Steele.
Recent reports have suggested that Dakota Johnson, daughter of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson, is the latest young actress to be considered for the role, which has seen names like Kristen Stewart and Emma Roberts thrown into the ring over the past several months.
