What can I update in the "Edit Profile" area?
In the "Manage My Everyday Health" module on your personalized homepage, click on the "Edit Profile" link. This will bring you to the "My Basics" page, where you can change basic account information. You'll also see a box labeled "Edit Profile" at left; the links in this box will allow you to update your profile details, privacy options, and much more. For example, you can:
- Update the e-mail address associated with your EverydayHealth.com account
- Update your location and zip code information
- Change your screen name and public profile URL
- Change the photo or avatar associated with your profile
- Review and update the "My Interests" and "More About Me" sections
- Review and update the "My Health Topics" personalization settings
- Review and update health topic and profile privacy settings
- Update "Display Settings" and MySpace layouts
- Update your newsletter delivery settings.
How do I update the e-mail address associated with my Everyday Health account?
In the "Manage My Everyday Health" module on your personalized homepage, click on the "Edit Profile" link. Then click on the "change" link next to your current e-mail address. Type in the new e-mail address. Click the "Save" button when finished.
How do I change my screen name?
In the "Manage My Everyday Health" module on your personalized homepage, click on the "Edit Profile" link. Then type in a new screen name. Click the "Save" button when finished. Remember, changing your screen name will also change your public profile URL and your screen name on all of your previous postings throughout the EverydayHealth.com site.
What is a screen name?
During registration, you create a screen name of your choice to use as your "public name" on the Everyday Health site (such as JenHealth77, GlobeTrekker99, or any other fictitious name). Other members will only see your screen name; you never have to reveal your real identity if you don't wish to do so. Your screen name will appear on your public profile, in private messages, and in all postings on discussion forums, Comment Walls, and blogs.
How do I change my password?
In the "Manage My Everyday Health" module on your personalized homepage, click on the "Edit Profile" link. Then click on the "change" link next to your current password. To create a new password, you will need to enter your current password. Click the "Save" button after creating a new password.
I've forgotten my password. What can I do?
If you have forgotten your password, click on the Forgot Your Password? link on the login page and follow the directions. We will send you an e-mail containing your password.
